Rustic Charm is authentic American White Oak character. Not European, French… blah, blah, blah The surface texture and feel is lightly wire brushed. It also has color tones that many have been asking for; including the new Greige.

As far as the wire brushing texture, it’s not heavy or deep like some very trendy hardwoods out there today. Rustic Charm is simply lightly wire brushed.

Let’s look at character. Character is more about the number of knots or board color contrasts from one to another. Some videos may show a smaller proportion of both while others more. You have to watch as many of these Rustic Charm videos to get a good idea of what to expect. Each and every box will be different.

If you haven’t noticed by now all Uptown hardwoods as of August 2017 are now available in herringbone or chevron pattern styles. You pick the length and width. For smaller areas 4 ¼ inches wide x 15 or 18 inches long work best while larger layouts, we can go up to 36 inch length and longer if need be.

Like all other Uptown hardwoods Rustic Charm comes in solid ¾ inch or our thick veneer ¾ inch engineered. Not crazy about the wire brushing texture but like a color. No problem we can simply finish it smooth with a lower cost to boot.
