So you’re asking why very little character in the unfinished video? It’s a matter of randomness. All unfinished bundles will be different but it balances itself out for instance if your order is 1,000 square feet. It’s also another reason to lay or rack out from as many bundles as possible to get an even mix of color and character.

Here’s a idea I came up with to test the milling or how much over wood is present or isn’t. Listen for yourself.

What it’s saying is boards sit very flat with one another requiring minimal effort to sand and then finish. Finally we damp sponge some of this red Oak to give it a look you would see finished natural and no stain.
