Walnut Clear will offer very similar characteristics as the clear without sap,
but it will have sap. Wait, I probably lost everyone. Sap comes from the outer portion of the tree. It offers occasional striping seen in this lightly stained prefinished walnut.
This video example doesn't show the full extent of what you would get. However if you received 1,000 square feet for example you will get more variety. Clear contained no knots but some burls.
Like all of our unfinished engineered expect a very thick wear or veneer layer; equivalent to three nickels stacked on top of each other or about 1/4 of one inch.
Next is a rough method to check the precision milling. If you hear any clicks that indicates there's overwood. The more overwood the more effort it takes to sand in preparation for finishing.
