White Oak Clear rift and quartered offers similar color tones to that of the
character rift and quartered. If you’re a bit lost on what rift and quartered means check out the character video where it’s discussed in detail.
Color tones will be very much like the clear white oak with no character or major color variation. More about rift and quartered. The mix runs about equal, or half qtrd and half rift.
This angle shows a good view of each.
How’s the actual milling quality? In the next film clip I simply took a piece of plank and ran it over several end and side joint seams. The result indicates minimal sanding will be needed prior to the final finishing.
